Printing to a wide format plotter

D

Don

I have a big calender that I've created in Word and want to print it out on a
large HP DesignJet 800 Plotter. The plotter is capable of printing on roll
paper and has a max "page" size of about 39 x 55 inches.

I have the printer selected and set to roll paper. However when I try to
change the page size within word it keeps telling me that the max
width/length it 22 inches.

How can I change the page size to match what the printer can do?

Hi Don,

Sorry, you're going to have to transfer your calendar to a different program
to print it. Word has an absolute maximum size in any direction of 22".

OK. That sucks. Word should be able to handle whatever the printer can
handle. But thanks for the quick answer.

If your plotter has a scaling option, you could create the calendar at a
reduced size and use the scaling in the printer Properties.
