Sites appearing in Favorites not chosen by me

I give up. I keep getting pornographic sites listed in my
Favorites that I never put there. I delete them out of
all the Favorites folders on my hard drive, reboot, but
within a few hours they all come back!!!! If anyone knows
why and how to prevent this, I would very much appreciate
it.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
