favorites corrupted!

Dear Anyone.
My favorites keep being deleted and replaced with a pornographic links and my homepage gets changed to Http://www.webcoolsearch.com when I have never been to that site.

I used a pop-up blocker that locks in my homepage, but it still managed to delete and replace my favorites.

This is a serious problem for me, I CANNOT have pornographic links on my work computer. Also, I use favorites for their intended function, and it is really irritating to have them all deleted every week or so by this malicious website. It appears that it can replace my favorites without having to be opened.

Does anyone have any way to stop it from doing this?

Your homepage has been highjacked. Use CWShredder to get rid it.

If still no joy, download HijackThis from Spywareinfo download page

http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php

Run the program and you will find many entries. Most are OK. Post the log. I
will find the problem for you.
