Hi could someone do a site ck for me
www.boggshomes.com
I'd love some input, criticism (good or bad) etc. also on meta tags, do they
have to be inserted on every page in the site, or just the first index page?

many thanks

A few of minor comments:

Horizontal and Vertical Navs are mostly redundant on this web. You may want to put just the Contact Us, the phone number, Links, on the Horizontal and have your vertical just for the most used buttons. The Local Weather, Local News, Sports links are getting lost up there too, and not being critical to your site, you may want to move them, maybe below your important vertical navs ??

You're addicted to exclamation points !!! Take a few out :) !

The logo image is a little jaggy - could use some work.

Personally, from a graphic design standpoint I'd rather see your logo up on the top left where it will draw your eye to the site, right now it drags me off to the right where there is nothing important. I'd replace "welcom to boggshomes.com" with your logo (after you "punch it up")

I like the look, nice a clean.

Meta keywords are mostly useless, and are ignored by the major search
engines. They derive their own keywords by analyzing the content on your
page. Meta descriptions are nice on each page.

Hmm very interesting comments, I totally appreciate them and do see your
point. I inherited this site for redesign so there are a few things that
they do want. But I will redo the logo and loose the !!!!!!!! :)

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (emphasis on the explanation pts)

When viewed at 800 by 600 the phone number shifts over so it's partly beneath and partly on top of
"Company Info"

The entire horizontal menu will collapse if you keep going too - which is an interesting effect.

Which is 800 by 600.
I do "everything "at 800 by 600, which is my monitor resolution setting. Even on my 17 inch flat
panel.

Murray's gonna have to help ya with that, I'm only a begnner with javascript. Graphics & design are what I do most.

You can't stop it from doing that as long as you have a flexible layout like
you do, assuming you don't want to do something 'gross' like putting in a
transparent GIF image that is 1px tall by 740px wide to keep the top menu
from squeezing below that width.

Hmmm. Now why can't I do something gross like that?

As long as I can figure out where to put it :)

thankz again
