I have installed Windows XP with this usb driver SiS 7001
PCI to USB Open Host Controller. But for some reason my
computer switchs off by it's self and restarts. (like
someone pulling the plug out of the wall). I have
installed the recent drivers and the patch for windows XP
but still it turns off. Anyone got ideas on how to fix
it. By the way i have also done virus, torjan and i have
a firewall. I have formatted and reinstalled but still
the same. Even the windows XP error reporting said that
it is caused from one of the drivers. Someone please help!

A computer that starts/shutdowns or wont shutdown, has a polarity device
conflict, you guessed it,the pci usb card, try installing in another slot, you can also
go to run,type:Msinfo32 Chk hardware,conflicts,and/or forced hardware tabs.
