One of my all time heroes of the Film world has passed away today, Just found out and I am gutted! This
man entertained me and I have various films on my Ipod Touch that I
always seem to go back to again and again, his laugh was infectious and always cheered me up when I saw that smirk of his..
A lot of people are gonna miss you Norman!

RIP Norman :( Sad news indeed; I enjoyed his films too, he could always crack me up, I only had to see the corners of his mouth begin to twitch and it would set me off. A great entertainer. :D

I remember as a kid watching his movies and the one I remember the best was The Early Bird. He was a true genius and a great entertainer. One of his scenes that I can recall and is embedded in my memory for good is the staircase scene, the tea cup in his hand and both the cup and saucer are OK even though he slides down the stairs all the way to the bottom.

Aye, one of the greats, childhood memories for me.

He got a little bit naughty in 'What's Good For The Goose' in 1969 as I recall - Good for our Norm :D

95 years - good innings.

RIP Sir Norman.
