Since IE 6 update "Page cannot be displayed"

Every since I downloaded an update for IE 6 I can't
connect to any secure site. It always comes up with
the "Page Cannot be Displayed" error. I've also got
Windows 98 if that helps any. I would appricate any help
that anyone can give thanks.
 
Hi Laura,

Have you experimented with IE6's security settings at all
to allow access to these sites? You can do so by going
to "Tools|Internet Options|Advanced", and scrolling to the
bottom of the list in that window. There is also
a "Security" tab in the "Internet Options" window that has
some stuff you can experiment with. Hope this helps!
