Simple Template

Hi,

Very new Word user here...

I'm trying to set up a letterhead template that has our company logo and
addresss within the header and footer on the first page and on the second and
consecutive pages just has our address in the footer.

I originally set up the template as a two page document, but I've found that
when my client only has a one page letter the second page needs to be
manually deleted (footers and section break) which also deletes the header
and footer on the first page...leaving them with just a blank page.

My question is...is there a way to set up a one page template for the full
letterhead (logo and address) that if the user happens to create a multi-page
letter the new pages that are created will automaticly be set up with just
the address?

Set the template to have a different first page header in page setup. Ensure
that the headers and footers appear as you wish for the two pages - then
delete the second page. Word will remember your requirements for the
subsequent pages.
