I just don't seem to get a straight answer. If I have an Access database how
do I connect it to Sharepoint. Thank you

You need to contact your host, as Sharepoint is MS SQL server based. You can also post to the
SharePoint newsgroup.

Your host needs to support sharepoint.....but you'd need to ask them this, they
would be best able to advise you how to work with their systems.

Hi,

I was wondering if you ever figured out how to host your Access database on
Sharepoint. If so, please be so kind as to share how...

Thanks.

Windows 2003 SharePoint Services requires MS SQL server.
See Database requirements:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/wss/2/all/adminguide/en-us/stsb01.mspx

If you are referring to FP2003 and it messages regarding SharePoint, the word SharePoint is also
used as a reference to the FP2002 extensions.

SharePoint requires SQL Server to operate, true, but you can use SharePoint
webs to connect with ANY type of data source, including Access.
