Simple question about the keyboard.

I apologise for asking this simple question but I cannot find the answer in
Google or XP help.

What is the function of the key between the Alt Gr and Control keys? I think
that it is called the applications key but I don't know what it does.

Is there a 102 key keyboard map available with complete key identification
of key functions.

At my advanced age I have failed to find one.
