Simple File Sharing

I'm trying to turn off simple file sharing on my XP Home
system but the option is not showing up in the Folder
OPtions | View | Advanced Setting section. Anyone know
why thath may be or another way to turn it off.

Best suggestion ive found yet nice program.

I knew it was just a matter of time until people started to make the
programs to convert XP Home to Pro, this is the first step i would take.

Do you know of any more programs (as that site is in danish i think), that
do this kind of thing, add things that are "only available" (not hidden) in
XP Pro?

Thanks again you just helped a small company IT guy stop screwing around and
going into safe mode to administrate 50 xp home computers on a network that
the company built.

My advice was aimed toward a small, home network. As Alaa pointed out,
you can't overcome the simple remote sharing restrictions in XP Home
with a security tab tool, you can only tweak the local access
privileges, something you can already do in safe mode.

You are likely to trip over more Home Edition limitations in your large
network.

oh well

BTW the bullheaded company ordered home for the price and now says "fix it"
Update: we purchased two W2K Server Dell Servers and are slowly changing to
W2K for all boxes, the start of a long fun process
