Simple File Sharing, Shared Documents folder disappearing

Hello,
I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, as I believe this issue
originates with other versions of Windows (XP for sure, e.g.). I have a new
single computer laptop, running Win Media Center version, on Dialup network.
At one (early) point in my starting the system, two login accounts were made,
both with admin ability. And a "normal" Shared Documents system folder was
present, with Shared Pictures and others folders existed.

Somehow, the Shared Documents folder has disappeared, and a folder called
"Documents" in its place, with "My Pictures", "My Music", etc underneath
that. How this changed I have no idea.

A simple question, is there a way to "repair" a Shared Documents folder?
(am aware these exist under the "All Users" area).

I am aware and have studied the article Q304040,
How to configure file sharing in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=304040

I don't have a problem (so far), just the knowledge that something changed
and appears not to be as documented. (local help files "File Sharing" for
example).

There are other (somewhat strange) symptoms, I believe to be related. But
I'll ask for now, is there any precedence for a disappearing "Shared
Documents" system folder (apearing in "Other Places", btw). Note: the folder
that is there ("Documents") is just a normal folder under All Users
(apparently).

Thanks
