I am using windows XP professional with Service Pack 2 and I am using simple
file sharing. When I double click on the my computer icon, I can see various
parts of the computer as usual. However in the last few weeks, the shared
documents folder (that points to c:\documents and settings\all users, with
the shared documents folder located in the path described) is missing from
the contents of my computer. I had the shared documents folder there before.
I even checked out another user's computer and that person has the shared
documents folder on his computer, like I used to have it. What would have
caused the shared documents folder to be removed or deleted from my computer
area and how do I get it back? I also wanted to mention that I checked the
registery setting and the registery values that sould be there are there, as
I checked my computer and my Friend's computer and we are both running the
same computer and the same version of windows xp (windows xp pro with service
pack 2 and all of the latest patches and what not).
