My computer looses the ability to share folders over the network

My computer looses the ability to share folders over the network. I
can reboot and usually it works again.

It seemed to start happening the last time I reformatted and started
new. I also started using Team Viewer at the time.

When I try to share a folder I get:

Click the Start button, right-click My Computer, and click Manage.
Double-click Services and Applications.
Double-click Services.
Scroll down the list of services and double-click Server.
Click the Start button.
Set the Startup type to Automatic.
Click Apply and OK.

You receive a "The server service is not started" error message when you
try to add a user to a group in Windows XP:

What's gong on with the "Confirm file delete" message behind the
"Sharing" error in your screenshot?

The amount of options Windows has overwhelms me sometimes. I looked
for a Server service. I didn't see it. Now that you have put your
finger on the option, I see it has one. It is set to automatic. It
was not started

When I reboot, all the folders I have shared are shared again.

I just started the service without rebooting and none of the folders
are shared. I would like to figure out why this could be happening.
Since I use the computer for P2P, I don't get to reboot as often as I
like.

Thanks

I take lots of screenshots using Clipmate. (I have a bad memory so I
freeze something on the screen to refresh my memory) I thought I had
one saved of the error message I was getting when I tried to share a
folder (on a shared folder I could not access) Since the screenshots
are 050 051 I was hunting for it. I had taken a screenshot of this
guy in a video I saw, trying to ID him with Google Image (It didn't
work). I no longer needed that image and I tried to delete it. Since
I use my XP machine (Team Viewer) using half window, the error message
was off the screen. I didn't find the error message screenshot so I
took another one. I had to scroll to full screen to capture it. The
confirm box was behind it.

BTW the guy I was trying to ID turned out to be this guy:
Noel Ignatiev
http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Noel_Ignatiev
He says.........
The key to solving the social problems of our age is to abolish the
white race. Until that task is accomplished, even partial reform will
prove elusive, because white influence permeates every issue in U.S.
society, whether domestic or foreign.

More than you wanted to know, I am sure. :)

As an aside... not only is it more than I wanted to know and totally
off-topic for this or any computer-focused newsgroup, but the metapedia
link you included is totally biased and inaccurate. Ignatiev's actual
viewpoint is better explained here:

and

Now let's get back on-topic, please.
