Simple attachment question

I use Outlook 2003 with SP1.

When I attach a document to an email, it appears as an icon in the main
text field of the email. I would much prefer to have it appear in the
line below the To:, cc:, etc., next to the paper clip, with the title
of the document.

Is that option available in Outlook 2003, and if so, how do I invoke
that?
