Silverfast is kicking me straight to PS CS2

My new Epson V750 came with Silverfast Ai. When I scan a transparency
in Silverfast it immediately takes me to CS2. Since Silverfast is a PS
plugin, am I at that point using the Silverfast color space in CS2?

Check your preferences what CS2 is set to. hopefully Silverfast
installed the color space file in the proper CS2 folder. Go to Edit -
Color space in PS2 and see where it is set. If it is set to sRGB (the
default) use the pull down to see if the Silverfast color space is
there. If not you'll probably have to manually install it.

In CS2, under the preferences/setup stuff, you decide
how you want files and imported images to be dealt with
in terms of the transformations that do or don't take place --
and warnings that will or won't appear when tags are
missing or not the same as the default.

You also decide how CS2 will deal with both tagged and
untagged files.

In CS2 you can also set the Status bar to show the
working space of the image it contains.

I can only vouch for CS2 -- but presumably there are
a few such selections in Silverfast as well -- ie., deciding
which color space (if any) to tag the files with.
