Well, I installed the Zallman 7000Cu CPU fan and cooler, the heavy one, and
it fits and works fine. Yeah, it's heavy, but I don't believe it will be a
problem unless the PC is bounced around, like during a move.

I also installed a Seasonic 400W PS, and the combination made a huge
difference. The PC is barely audible, and there's nothing else running in
the room. No need for a fancy case.

The Zalman cooler is huge, and they have a compabilitity list on their web
site. My Intel D845PEBT2 didn't pose any fit problems.

CPU temps are lower, as is the temperature of the entire case. Can't explain
that, since the total amount of heat generated should be about the same.

how are you measuring the case heat?

Perhaps the new PSU is actually pulling more air out of the case,
despite it being quietter...
