When I hit the IE icon or my ISP icon, the error
message "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close" is displayed. Error signature
iexplore.exe, mod name urlmon.dll.
Local area connection 3 status: when repair is hit,
response "Failed purging the DNS resolver cache".

MSN loads and runs ok when MSN icon is hit.
My ISP, ntl, are no help whatsoever.

First eliminate any scumware.
