We have several lines in our signature setup for Outlook XP/2003. When I send
to some clients like hotmail.com the signature is double spaced. I turned off
Word as the e-mail editor and Word had signle spacing. When I send to yahoo
clients the signature is spaced correctly (signle spaced). What could cause
double spacing when a recepient receive the message?

Thanks in advance.

Try using Shift+Enter instead of Enter to end each line.

Hi Sue,

When I do Shift+Enter it leaves a space on the next and then I drop down a
line and backspace up to get rid of the space. What will Shift+Enter do ?

It should look like:

Jane Yur
Manager
Food Services
skjssk

Thanks for your help

Sounds like there's already an extra space at the end of the line, which is moving to the next line when you use Shift+Enter (which inserts a line break). Deleting the space is the right thing to do.
