signature not displayed on new email messages

I am using Outlook 2003 and yesterday my signature quit
being displayed on new email messages. I go to the email
option menu and my email signature shows up there as
normal, it just will not show up on the email messages.
Any thoughts?

It seems that the program does not see my email
signature. I tried to delete my signature in the email
options area and create a new one, but when I highlight my
signature, the option to delete it stays grayed out as if
it is not seen.
