resizing signature problem

Outlook 2007

I'm including an image as my signature, now I want to change the size of
this image. After this resize I want the previous emails sent (which include
this signature) to show the new signature.

they show the new updated signature, but the problem is resizing the
signature. if for example the old signature image had height 200px and the
new signature has height 300px, then in old messages the 300px height is set
to 200px, which out the entire signature out of aspect ratio

so how to resize the image so that old messages can display the new
signature without changes to aspect ratio?

you can't change anything hardcoded into the old messages and the size is. Personally, i would use a new name for the new image and not worry about the ones already sent.
