Signature lines disappear

Signature lines disappear and we have to recreate them.
We are using outlook 2000 and word as the editor. Trying
to determine why the disappear and how we can stop from
losing them

This behaviour is by the design of Outlook 2000. When you use word as
the default email editor inside Outlook 2000, you would not be able to
use the Signature. Try inserting the signature without using Word as
the default email editor and see ifthat works. I should!!!
