SIGN-IN Problems.....

Hi, girlfriend Susie uses MS Outlook on her 'puter, and recently she's
started getting a sign-in block asking for username & password... she types
what she uses in but the block keeps appearing and she can't receive email
with that block there.
She's the only one on the computer, so she doesn't need a sign-in block at
all.... how can we make it go away??

Thanks & Best regards.......................... <TOM>

What if the mail servers are down at the unidentified e-mail service
provider (ESP)? Just because she can startup Windows and load an e-mail
client doesn't mean the ESP is available. Did she call her unidentified
ESP to check on any e-mail service outages?

Did she test by seeing if she can use their webmail agent to connect to
their mail servers? If she can log into webmail, have her send a test
e-mail (to an off-domain account since internally-routed within the same
domain for e-mails may not even hit the mail server).
