Sign in page

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to create a page that I can have my team sign
in and download documentation. I have created the download
page and the sign in page but I can not find information
in how ti create the user name and password. My website is
www.1cmsi.com ( still working on it).
I know that my web hosting company allows me to do what I
want to do I just don't have a clue how to do it. Novice
here.

Since your site is hosted on an Apache
server running UNIX:
Server: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux)
FrontPage/5.0.2.2623

You will need to password protect your folder using .htaccess
and .htpasswd files.

If you have the CPanel webmaster control panel,
open CPanel, go to Access Menu and select Web Protect.
Click the folder you want to password protect, give it a
Realm name, a User Name and a Password.
( the realm name is optional )
