HELP!!! Email Form results request sign in

eHi everyone,
I have just built my first website using FP2003. I am a novice to this and
all the jargon used so please use simple term when you reply. When I made a
contact form and set it up to email results I receive error messge " form
cannot be confugured to send results be email" if I ignore this and publish
site when visitors try to use contact form they are prompted to sign in user
name and password. The sign box as the name of my user name and host name at
the top " sujackma.bluedomino.com. Also hit counter and othr dynamic fuction
appear and disappear. I have tried to look if FP extension are enabled on my
computer following instructions from this forum but cannot find the corrct
place. Am I beyond help..

Ask your web host if your account has the FP extensions and if you can use the FP Form Handler, if
the extensions are installed.

Is Wookey Parish the site?

If so, there is no Contact page there, it's not uploaded.
That site does have FP extensions, but the code for the site is/was produced
by McWeb editor not FP so no telling whats up.

Yes it is Wookey Parish, I took the contact form off last night to try to
repair it, now I have taken the whole site off until I know what to to do.
what is McWeb editor I do not have that editor. I have gone to my control
panel and reinstalled FP extensions. Did I make some kind of mistake when
publishing??

dunno, now the site is gone...or at least the index page is so we cannot see
it at all.

Rob,

I have now put a feedback form back on site using FP template and added
upload button. I am in the process of republishing the site to enable you to
take a look. I should be uploaded soon. The form is set to return results to
(e-mail address removed).

Thanks, I do have FP extensions and I will check if can use form handler. I
will have a look and see if this is something that may be accessible
throught my hosts control panel

Sorry to keep on, I have just reinstalled fp extensions and republished site
and the problem is still there. However I have discovered that to biuld the
site I used J-perk special affect by McWeb. McWeb are who Rob said was
publishing my site. Does this mean that on using J-Perks McWeb has installed
itself as the default publisher, if so can I change this back to FP of will I
have to rewrite all the pages with J-Perks on them removing the special
affects.. This would make sense as to why I am being asked to sign in when I
submit a for.

Permissions on the _private folder are probably not set correctly.

Also your form will probably NOT be able to send email to a different domain
