Sidewinder joystick

doesn't work on XP. it doesn't even show up on the game controller
list. It is fully connected, and i can feel some response when i mov
it, but it doesn't show up anywhere. i've scanned ports, don't have
via usb, and i dunno what else to do

Nope, it doesn't show up at all. I've run the detection stuf
everywhere i could find them, still nothing

Known good USB ports? Do they detect other devices? Is the USB port on the
motherboard or hub... and if hub, powered or unpowered?
