Sidekick Calendar Import?

P

Peter

By any chance, is Microsoft working on an import filter to bring Sidekick
98's CALENDAR into Outlook 2003. Alternatively, does anyone know an easy
work-around.

Sidekick was probably the best, most intuitive PIM ever made but it has been
long orphaned by Starfish who took over the company. The address book is
easy to deal with, but the calendar is not. I have some 15 years of data
going back and about 10 years of tickler files going forward. I would love
to migrate everything to Outlook but that requires moving the calendar.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your reply. Since Sidekick 95 and Outlook 97 are pretty well
gone (and I don't think I can take a Calendar from Sidekick 98 and move it
back to Sidekick 95 anyhow) it would appear that it will be necessary to go
first to some old program such as Lotus Organizer and then, assuming not too
much data is lost, into Outlook 2003.

This seems like a tortuous process and I suspect that I will stay with
Sidekick until the last minute in hope that somebody at MS finds a way to
import the data.
