Outlook 2003 Calendar issues after import

This is something that has been bothering me for some time. I backup
my Outlook calendar to a pst file, and import it on another computer,
in order to have the same calendar on 2 computers. Before backing up
the calendar, I remove all items from the deleted items folder. When
I import the backup pst file, all of my calendar items I deleted from
the main computer come back to the calendar as a current item...I've
searched and searched, but never found anything that can stop
this...and it's driving me crazy! I have to go back through the
calendar and delete all deleted appointments on the imported calendar
computer...any ideas?

Why would you ever use import to transfer Outlook data when there is so much
incontrovertible evidence that importing is never the correct way to
transfer Outlook data? You must not have read the posts in these groups
before you asked your question.
The only correct way to transfer Outlook data is to create an Outlook data
file with the information you want to transfer, open that file in the
installation to which you want to transfer the data, and copy that
information from the transfer file to the profile's default file. More
detailed instruction are posted here almost daily.
