You got away easy.
Be thankful it DIDN'T install because on my system, I tried to install
Ubuntu and
it erased my entire C:drive and I lost all my data.
Thank goodness for my backup which was current.

Vista may not be the greatest, but Linux is a pile of dung that tries
to take over your computer
by erasing your Windows files.
Oh yea, when I complained about this in a Linux Ubuntu forum, I got
flamed, yelled at, called an idiot, told
to RTFM, told to go back to Win'dopes and stuff like that.

I make sure to tell every single person I come in contact with what a
pile of garbage Linux is because
I wouldn't offer Linux to my worst enemy.
I'd rather get root canal than use Linux.

personally i do agree that wondows takes linux ideas but the thing the linux
dont mention is that Microsoft makes it STABLE ANS USEABLE i mean with a
vista install time of 7 1/2 compared to linux's no install i know what i
prefer

My fiancee' got tired of me fiddling with Ubuntu all the time and bought me a
new PC with Vista Home edition. All I ever got from Ubuntu (and SUSE, Fedora
too) was
headaches. They can't even get the screensavers or power management options
to work! 6.06 was bad enough, but the upgrade to 6.10 was a total
catastrophe! No more Linux for me.

If you paid any attention, those are others' quotes from this newsgroup.
The entire point of the KICK site is to draw attention to some of the
silly things posted here that really have no place in such a group.
