shutting outomaticly xp home edition

Since I bought & installed xp home edition instead of win
98.
The pc do not shut itself automatically, but give me the
info...That it's possible to shut.
What to do ?

Go to Control Panel -> Power Options, and if there is an APM page, trying
checking 'Enable APM' (or unchecking, not sure which, off the top of my
head!)
