Hi

Have a look in the Event Viewer to see if there are any entries that may
point to the shutdowns. Are you using any specific program at the time or
are the shutdowns random?

Right click My Computer | Properties | Advanced tab |
Click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery |
Under System failure, UNCheck: Automatically restart |
OK | Apply | OK

[[Specifies which recovery actions Windows performs when the system stops
unexpectedly.
You must be logged on as a member of the Administrators group to set
recovery options.]]

To open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | OK
Click on Application and System
Have a look around.
