shutdown

i loaded windows xp into my compuyer that had windows 98
second addition. now the computer constantly shuts down
and restarts giving a message which says" system
shutdownnt authority rpc terminated and gives you 60
seconds to close your work" this only occurs on internet,
not on other programs.someone tell me how to correct the
problem as i do not wish to wait one hour for tech .

This is known behaviour of the blaster worm. The fix is
complex and involves starting with a clean boot. Check the
Norton Antivirus site for info.
