Shutdown

I have had this problem since I installed xp pro. I will be working and all
of a sudden the screen goes black, music stops playing and I can't do
anything. To restart the laptop, I have to unplug the power and take out the
battery. It seems like the disks don't turn off but there is no response. I
have no idea. I have installed all the latest updates. HELP!

I know it, you have not installed drivers for XP.
