Shutdown requires going thru procedure twice

This is not earth shaking but merely aggravating.
When shutting down XP (with all updates) I must go thru the shutdown
procedure twice for the program to actually shutdown. Thought Corel might be
problem but haven't figured ou how to be sure
Appreciate any help you all can offer

Hey there Bill,

One thing you might want to do is look through the event logs on the machine
to determine if there was an error logged during shutdown.

Go to Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer- and click on
each individual event log to check for errors. If there are any found, you
can double click on that event to get the Source name and ID number off of
the log. Take those bits of information and run them in the Windows XP
Professional Events and Errors page on TechNet at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/su...ows Operating System&MajorMinor=5.1&LCID=1033
