Shutdown problems

Almost everytime I try to shut down windows it stops at "windows is shutting
down"
Can anybody please help me?

i had the same issue and saw another person just changed the auto update.
all you need to do is hit start and got to control panel open up the
security center and open where it says manage security settings for:
AUTOMATIC UPDATES. and choose download updates but let me choose when to
install.
HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU TOO.
