My computer has recently developed a new problem. When I go to Shutdown,
nothing happens. I sit stirring at the Desktop and the computer is
nonresponsive. I go to Ctrl-Alt-Delete and there are no Applications
currently running that could interfere with the Shutdown command. I am not
running any new software that could account for this other than the recent
Windows updates. Any suggestions on how to solve this annoyance would be
appreciated.

Kelly,

Thanks for the tip. Where should I place the file reboot.vbs?

Thanks

Kelly, I want to thank you for help with shutdown problems also. I am
still unable to log off as administrator. I can change users but cannot log
off. Thanks for any help.
