Shutdown Problem

On serveral occations, I have installed Win2K on systems
that have automatic shutdown (that is, when you shut
down, the computer powers down all the way). When I have
finished, when I go to shut down, it now goes to "It is
now safe to Power off". What changed or was reconfigured
that would cause this?

Hi Glen,

Check your hidden hardware and make sure it is enabled.
Right click on My Computer choose Properties, then click
on Hardward TAB, next click Device Manager, then View -
Show Hidden Devices. Right click on the device that change
the disabled to enabled.
