Shutdown problem: "End Program DDE Server Window"

When I go to shutdown or restart my computer, I get a window message that
says: "End Program - DDE Server Window". It will stay on the screen until I
Cancel or End Program. Then my computer will shut down or restart. [It does
not happen all the time; but I can't find a pattern when it does.]

I'm running Windows XP Home - SP-2; with all updates. The Services "Network
DDE" and Network DDE DSDM" are disabled. My system is 3.2 GHz standalone; not
on any network.

Any help is appreciated.
