shutdown issues / explorer.exe

I too have been experiencing slow restart and shutdown. i have tired a few
things i have read here no luck. i have friewall, ad-aware, spy sweeper,
ect. i am not sure what the casue is it seems to be explorer.exe file will
not shutdon. usaully when i end it manually it will shutdown and reboot
fine.sometimes it works ok, most of the time it does not. i am going to try
cwshredder to see if that will help. any thoughts would be appreciated
greatly. thanx
