Remote call procedure Automatic shutdown

I'm running windows XP on a Sony Viao desktop. Whenever I
go out to the internet I now get a pop up message stating
that NT Authority/system is shutting down my computer due
to a Remote Procedure Call Service that terminated
Unexpectedly. It shuts me down in like 30 seconds and
usually hangs my system up on shutdown.

This started after I caught the blaster virus. I removed
it using Norton Anti-virus and with the latest virus
definitions my system comes back clean.

I have no idea what to do short of wiping everything out
and then doing a complete re-install. That's my last
choice. Help?

But did you also download the patch and put up a firewall?
If not then you probably got it again.
