Shutdown Delay/Problem

Hi,
I´m using a new Athlon 64/3000+ (I purchased and installed it on 03/19/2005)
with Windows XP and with all updates from Windows Update but since yesterday
I´m experiencing Shutdown Delay (it never shutdowns). I have already run
Norton AntiVirus 2005, Ad-Aware SE and CheckDisk (searched for disk errors
on drive "c" scheduled in the boot).
How can I solve this problem?
I´m waiting for your feedback.
