Shutdown by battering keyboard!!

My 4yr old son has this uncanny skill of switching off my PC just by
whacking the keyboard with his hands a few times! Is he just lucky that he
manages to hit a correct sequence to shutdown or is there something built in
to XP that causes this? (some kind of safety feature?)

Buy your kid a keyboard of his own that isn't connected to
your computer. Or give him your current keyboard and get
the one of your dreams.

If he doesn't have enough control to not bang on the
keyboard, he isn't computer ready.

If your computer has a sleep, shutdown or log-off button,
you can deactivate those keys.

ALT+F4+U will turn off the PC when no program windows are open but what the
odds of accidentally hitting that combination is I don't know.
