In Rodgie had this to say:
My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
when screen saver is on, you move the mouse to trun it off but it
then trys to shut windows down...How do i fix it?
Assuming (and I know I shouldn't) it's trying to get you to log back in
(shutting down is an option of course but if that's the case it isn't trying
to make you do anything other than log back in - you have a choice) then
right click any blank area on the desktop, select properties, click on the
screensaver tab, untick the option to "on resume, password protect" and that
should do it.
