Just recently my computer has been experiencing problems
with shutdown and restarting immediately thereafter for no
apparent reason. Shutdown is done through the normal
exiting procedure by closing all programs and using Start
and shutdown. After it restarts again I will go through
shutdown again at the ctrl-alt-dlt page by using the
shutdown option. The computer will automatically restart
again for a second time but will shutdown in the middle of
restarting. Sometimes the situation varies by the fact
that the computer just keeps restarting until I have to
unplug the CPU. I have no idea how this problem
initiated, please direct me to some answer and possible
remedies. Thanks!

Most of the time, this is a hardware problem.

Right click My Computer - left click Properties - Advanced - Startup and
Recovery. Uncheck Automatically reboot then click OK. The computer should
now produce a blue screen error code that will give additional information
as to the problem. Probably a driver issue. Be sure to write down the
entire error and repost.
