show this address list first changes back to GAL

I have several users that change their 'show this address list first' setting
to a sub address list that we have setup. When they log off the computer then
log back on the setting has changed back to the GAL. This is not happening
to everyone.

They are running Office Outlook 2003 sp3.

Anyone know how to fix this and so the show this address list first setting
will stick?

When they log off, do they close Outlook completely first?

Yes, I have talked to the users and each of them tell me they close all their
windows, including outlook, and then logoff.

This same problem is happening to a user here, too. Also using

I don't know that the setting is controllable via policy, but if it is,
perhaps the company for which you work (and this applies also to the original
poster rcash) has elected to lock down that setting. Have you asked your IT
people? They are the people who need to deal with any problem on a computer
used within a company.
