show one slide only

Is there a way to jump from one slide to another during a PPT presentation?
Sometimes Pastor will jump from one point to another and I have to quickly
"zoom" through the other slides (on screen where the audience can see) to get
to where he has just jumped. Is it possible to jump to different slides
during Slide Show? Thanks for any help you can give me!

One way is to type the slide number and press enter key. Another way is to
become familiar with and use Presenter's View, which allows you to select a
thumbnail of the slide that you want to jump to.

Hello, Sonia--thank you for taking the time to help me out here. By saying
"Type the slide number" what do you mean? I'm sorry, I pretty much
self-taught myself Power Point and don't know everything I need to know
obviously! Joyce

In PowerPoint in the Outline task pane, you'll see the slides listed and each
has a sequential number. That's the slide number you enter to jump to an out of
sequence slide.
