Show Desktop

Somehow ... I removed the Show Desktop icon in the
taskbar. I would like to get it back with the background
and icons of my desktop, not the technical page

I'm not sure what you mean ("get it back with the
background and icons of my desktop...")however, I assume
you're running XP... Go to Help and Support on the Start
menu, type "show desktop icon" in the search bar and the
solution should be on the top of the list of the Microsoft
Knowledge Base pages. This will restore the icon to your
taskbar. However, to re-enable the icons on your desktop,
right-click the desktop, select Arrange Icons By, and
select Show Desktop Icons. Any background you HAD on the
desktop may need to be reloaded from ControlPanel/Display
(or right-click the desktop and select Properties).

You can also do the keyboard shortcut. Hold the windows
key then hit "m"
