Should I use Frontpage?

Can I create a nice website with Frontpage if I don't know how to write html?
 
Yes.
The What You See Is What You Get feature ( called WYSIWYG ) of FrontPage will create the html for
you.

However it is much better if you develop an understanding of html as you go. That is why FrontPage
has an html or code view ( depending upon the version )

Yes, for sure. This does not mean that FP is easy - it is a powerful program
and therefore unavoidably complex. And it is definitely a good idea to learn
HTML eventually, but you can certainly get started without it.
 
I'd venture to bet the "split pane" in fp 2003 will have people learning
html faster than ever. ;-)
