should I allow svchost.exe to access the internet?

Probably a simple question. I am running Zone Alarm firewall, and svchost.exe wants to access the internet
Is that OK? It seems to be a windows executable so its probably OK..

8Z3.exe also tries to get online. I'm just a little worried about viruses. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It is likely you have some spyware that should be removed.
"8Z3.exe " is not a Windows XP file....it is likely a "spyware"
file.
