I am about to perform an upgrade from Office 2000 to Office 2003. In Word
2000 you could click on the "White sheet of paper" icon and it would take you
straight to all your workgroup templates.

Now in Word 2003 you have to click FILE -> NEW -> ON MY COMPUTER

Is anyone aware of a quicker way of getting to them, such as an icon like
before?

All help welcome

Hi JayBL,

Choose Tools | Customize... | tab Commands.
Select 'Normal.dot' next to 'Save in:'
Under 'Categories:' select All commands.
Under 'Commands:' select FileNewDialog and drag it to a place on a toolbar.
You can modify the look of this new button by right clicking it; perhaps you
could copy the "White sheet of paper"-button first and paste it on your new
button.

Good luck,
Cooz

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/CustomizingWord2002.htm. It will tell
you how to get this back.
